Greene County SWCD

Currently, the SWCD has an 8-foot Truax No-Till drill available to rent. The cost is $8 per acre, with a $50 minimum. The drill is designed to plant warm and cool season grasses, legumes, and soybeans. It works great on small acreages and pulls well on the road behind a ½ ton pickup. Requires one hydraulic remote for field operation.

The Board would like to know if there is another type of equipment that would be beneficial for you if the SWCD had it available to rent. The SWCD does make some revenue from equipment rental, but the main objective is to assist farmers and landowners in any way possible.
